Katherine Easterly was born and raised in the South. She lives in Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach, FL with her husband and West Highland Terrier named Buster. They have two grown sons. Growing up in a family full of artistic talent inspired her love of art from an early age. Not long ago, Katherine received a Christmas gift of oil painting lessons with Crozet artist Karen Blair. This ignited a passion and energy for experimentation with different styles and mediums. She draws inspiration from the scenery of the beautiful mountains of Albemarle County, beaches of Florida and her travels abroad. Previous art shows include King Family Vineyard North Gallery and Over the Moon Bookstore in Crozet, VA and the Crozet Library.
